Foam Tapes

Thomco offers a variety of foam products available in rolls, commonly used in manufacturing for various applications that require cushioning, sealing, insulation, vibration dampening, or protection. Flexible and easy to shape, cut, and adhere, foam products are cost-effective solutions for many applications.

Thomco can convert the following types of foams for your application:

  • Foam Tape Rolls/Double-Sided Foam Tape: Often used for sealing, bonding, and mounting applications such as gaskets, weatherstripping, bonding, and sound insulation.
  • Closed-Cell Foam: Sealed cells prevent the passage of air and moisture, offering excellent waterproofing, cushioning, insulation, and buoyancy.
  • Open-Cell Foam: Interconnected cells allow air and moisture to pass through for a lightweight, compressible surface functional in cushioning, packaging, and sound absorption.
  • Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam: Low-density polyethylene foam is soft and suitable for delicate items, while high-density polyethylene foam offers better durability and protection. Useful in applications such as automotive gaskets, construction expansion joints, and marine applications.
  • Polyurethane Foam: Offers excellent resilience, comfort, and cushioning properties for applications like furniture padding, automotive seating, and mattress production.
  • Soundproofing Foam: Specifically designed for acoustic applications and used to reduce noise and sound transmission in settings where noise control is essential.
  • Thermal Insulation Foam Rolls: Foam rolls with thermal insulation properties are used to insulate pipes, HVAC systems, and other equipment to prevent heat loss or gain and improve energy efficiency.
